Traveling The World As A Peace Core Volunteer

With sites in 139 different countries, volunteering for the Peace Corp is a great opportunity to see the world. Becoming a volunteer for the Peace Corp involves an extensive application process, but the rewards are well worth it. Volunteers are able to help people, while also learning about new cultures and customs.

The Peace Corp has volunteer sites all over the world, from Mexico to Thailand. When you are accepted to the Peace Corp you will be assigned to a site that best fits your skills, as well as the needs of the Peace Corp. An added bonus is the fact that the Peace Corp will pay for travel expenses to and from the country you will be working in.

As a Peace Corp volunteer you will be very busy serving others in the host country by immplementing health, education and community programs. But volunteers do accrue two days of vacation for every month served. These vacation days can be used to travel around and explore the new country you are living in. Being a Peace Corp volunteer presents a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in a new culture and see parts of the world that you have never seen before.
